COVID-19: One more death in TN, 69 new cases
With this, the total number of Covid-19 patients who have died in the state rose to seven.

The death toll in Tamil Nadu due to Covid-19 increased to seven and the number of patients who got discharged from hospital went up to 17, said Health Secretary on Tuesday.
The number of persons who had tested positive has gone up by 69 to 690.
Speaking to reporters, Beela Rajesh said a 64-year-old women died here at the government hospital.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 patients who have died in Tamil Nadu rose to seven.
Rajesh said 17 persons have been cured of Covid-19 in the state and have been discharged.
According to her, out of the 69 new positive cases, 63 persons had attended the religious conference organised by Tablighi Jamaat in Delhi last month.
The total number of persons who had attended the Delhi conference and have been infected with coronavirus is 630.
According to Rajesh, 34 districts in the state has reported Covid-19 cases.
She said a group of doctors -- government and private -- audit the cause of each death and the protocols to be followed to cut down the morbidity rate.
