According to informed Secretariat sources, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has asked his Cabinet colleagues to focus on their native districts and address issues related to COVID-19 outbreak.

“Our party leader (MK Stalin) had also issued a set of instructions for the party MLAs to execute in their constituencies during this COVID-19 outbreak and we are briefing the party high command on a daily basis,” Saidapet MLA and former Chennai mayor Ma Subramanian told DT Next.

All the DMK MLAs have been directed to do their best by providing masks for health workers and provisions for the destitute, the MLA added.
