COVID-19: New time restrictions of essential services in TN come into effect from today
The grocery stores, vegetables, fruits and other fuel outlets will be working from 6 am to 2.30 pm, while medical stores and hospitals will function 24 hours a day. Hotels that deliver packed foods will also function throughout the day.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has relaxed the working hours of some of the essential services in Tamil Nadu. This new time restrictions will be followed throughout the state from today.Â
The grocery stores, vegetables, fruits and other fuel outlets will be working from 6 am to 2.30 pm, while medical stores and hospitals will function 24 hours a day. Hotels that deliver packed foods will also function throughout the day.
Food delivery outlets such as Zomato and Swiggy are allowed to deliver food only between 7 am to 9.30 am in the morning, 12 pm to 2.30 pm in the noon and 6 pm to 9 pm in the night.Â
