    With the scare of nCoronavirus on the rise in the country, the residents have started posting their photos wearing masks with a hashtag #prayforcoronavirustoend and #coronaAlert on social media.

    People wearing a mask and posting their photos on Instagram, requesting others to stay clean and healthy with #prayforcoronavirustoend is also trending. “Please wear a mask. Whenever u go to the crowded place, travelling etc and do wash your hands before you take food. Stay healthy. Health is the biggest asset; without good health, nothing is possible in this world. So, take care of yourself and be free from diseases #coronavirüs #prayforcoronavirustoend (sic),” posted Vivek with his photo with a mask on Instagram.


    A few even posted cereal bowls stating, “Here for my monthly routine prayers, praying for the well-being of everyone, hope that the deadly Coronavirus virus will see its end soon! #prayforcoronavirustoend (sic),” posted Albert.


    Many of the netizens are posting or forwarding precautionary measures to be taken, with men more keen on passing on health benefits in using alcohol-based hand sanitizer, stressing that the sanitizer to wash or clean the hands should contain at least 60 per cent alcohol in it. Some have posts on dos and don’ts to be followed regularly and the need to be more health-conscious. Also, there are posts urging people not to panic or add to the scare that already exists.


    Apart from prayers and safety measures advice, there are also memes about nCoronavirus trending on Twitter.


    A meme which has the picture of actor Suriya dressed as Bodhi Dharmar stating, “now only one person can save India from Coronavirus ‘Aravind- descendant of Bodhi Dharma’ a few years ago a Chinese guy Dong Lee started biological war with India by with this virus but Aravind developed bodhiDharman skills and cure the disease, we just need him back #CoronaAlert (sic).”
