Students of Madurai Waqf Board college protests against CAA

The students of Madurai Waqf Board college staged a protest, the students movement in India got momentum from the Jamia Milia Islamia college protest in New Delhi and the consequent police action.

Waqf Board college students boycotted classes and voiced their disapproval of the new act introduced by the government.

The resolution of the protest was demanding a rollback of both the National Register for Citizens (NRC) and Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
