Child porn clip case: More arrests likely

Christopher Alphonse (42), the accused in the child pornography case, had too many WhatsApp groups and Facebook accounts through which he had forwarded several videos which had earned many a followers.

The police, who blocked all the accounts of Christopher, have taken the details of his followers. The police found that there are around 300 followers among them around 100 are from Tiruchy. Out of the 100 Tiruchy followers, 15 had forwarded the videos that were shared by Christopher. The police took the entire details of the 15 followers and are in the process of arresting them with solid proofs, the sources said.

The sources also said that the followers of Christopher had belonged to various classes of people. However, it is said, among the followers, the number of students was more.

Meanwhile, the police had summoned a few and started interrogating them in secret places and there would be more arrests in the coming days.
