Karti to be made TNCC chief?
TNCC president KS Alagiri has barely completed a year at office, but talks of another guard change at the helm has already begun. Speculations abound on Sathyamurthy Bhavan corridors about Sivaganga MP Karti P Chidambaram working to replace Alagiri.

The speculations were fueled by alleged differences between Alagiri and the Chidambarams, more so after the incarceration of the former union minister in connection with INX Media case.
The mellowed response to PC’s incarceration in his native state led by Alagiri, party sources said, had contributed to the disaffection.
Disgruntlement of other leaders EVKS Elangovan and Thirunavukkarasar towards Alagiri’s move to appoint his supporters as district presidents hadonly held build the case against him.
The disaffection, TNCC sources said, was thereason for Alagiri failing to get his list of DP’s approved by AICC.
A Congress senior, who did not wish to be named, said the ties between Alagiri and Chidambaram was not bad and such speculations were only floated by those unhappy with Alagiri.
When contacted, Karti denied showing any interest in the TNCC chief post.
