NHM staff to receive 10 per cent wage increment

As per the scheme, the employees working for at least three years now will receive a minimum of 10 percent hike in their basic pay, while those below that will receive increment once they complete three years of service.

Though the announcement was made in March this year, the order was put on hold due to the model code of conduct that came into effect for the elections. Now, the employees who have completed three years but less than five years till April 1, 2018 will be given 10 percent increase in their basic pay, while those who have five years or more experience will get 15 percent increase in the pay.

The State Health Society is authorised to give permission to grant the bonus for employees with eligibility cut-off date being April 1 every year. The employees who receive an increment of 10 percent on completion of three years, will get additional 5 percent hike once they complete five years of continuous service.

The order issued by NMH director stated that loyalty or experience bonus has been brought into effect from April 1, 2018 and all the monthly salaried contractual personnel are eligible for arrears from the same date. The order will be brought into effect before the end of this year,officials said.
