Mass shuffle of IAS officers initiated, three Collectors transferred

The State government on Friday initiated a mass shuffle of IAS officers in the rank of Secretaries, Commissioners, Directors and District Collectors. More than 40 transfers were ordered by the government.

According to the order, Mahesan Kasirajan, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Minerals Limited is transferred and posted as Secretary of Tamil Development and Information Department replacing A Karthik, who was holding the post as additional charge.

Mohammed Nasimuddin, Principal Secretary to the Government, Energy department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Government, Labour and Employment department, replacing Dheeraj Kumar, who was holding it as additional charge. Nasimuddin is replaced by Chandra Mohan, who was the MD of Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation.

Rajendra Kumar, Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, replacing Hans Raj Verman, who was holding it as additional charge.

Jothi Nirmala, Commissioner of Employment and Training has been transferred and posted as IG of the Registration department, replacing Ka Balachandran, who was holding it as additional charge.

Three District Collectorstransferred:
K Vijayakarthikeyan, Director, Tamil Nadu Institute of Urban Studies has been transferred and posted as the Collector of Tirupur district, replacing K S Palanisamy, who is now posted as Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.

Praveen P Nair, MD, Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women, has been transferred and posted as Nagapattinam Collector, replacing S Suresh Kumar. K Megraj, Vellore Sub Collector, has been transferred and posted as Namakkal Collector, replacing Asia Mariam, who is now transferred and posted as the Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency (TEDA).
