Public hearings for new districts from tomorrow

According to the statement of Kancheepuram Collector, the review meeting would be chaired by Sathyagopal and would be held in two places, one in Kancheepuram Collectorate and another one in Chengalpattu Government Medical College Hospital, on Tuesday.

In the meeting to be held at Kancheepuram, there will be two sessions, one from 10 am to 11 am in which MPs and MLAs can register their views and concerns about the new district. Public and NGO, from Kancheepuram and Mathuranthagam Revenue Divisions can attend the meeting between 11 am and 1 pm in Kancheepuram.

Similarly, for public and NGOs of Chengalpattu and Tambaram Revenue Divisions, public hearing is scheduled in Chengalpattu in the afternoon between 2 and 5 pm. As far as Vellore district is concerned, the public hearing would be held on August 29 in Vellore and Tirupattur. On August 30, the public hearing would be held at Ranipet. In Vellore, the public hearing would be held in two sessions, where the MPs and MLAs of Vellore district can participate in the morning, from 10 to 11 am to register their views and the next meeting for public and NGOs of Vellore Revenue Division would be held between 11.30 am and 1.30 pm.

For people of Tirupattur Revenue Division, the public hearing would be held between 3.30 and 6.30 pm on the same day.

For people of Ranipet Revenue Division, the public hearing would be held on August 30, from 9.30 am to 1 pm.
