Fish trader caught with counterfeit notes
A trader from Krishnagiri, who gave counterfeit notes while buying fish, was nabbed by the Kasimedu fishing harbour police on Thursday night.

S Munuswamy (46), bought four baskets of fish from K Desappan and paid Rs 4,500.
Desappan found that seven Rs 500 notes were fake, and nabbed Munuswamy. The police team seized Rs 17,500 from his possession, of which Rs 5,000 were fake notes. Munuswamy claimed that he borrowed Rs 16,000 from one Velu of Varatanpalli in Krishnagiri.
