Don’t mislead students on NEET: Tamilisai
Political parties in the state particularly the DMK, led by MK Stalin, is misleading the students’ community on NEET, BJP state president Tamilisai Soundararajan told reporters here on Thursday.
Chennai
“The Supreme Court has made it clear and has asked the political parties not to give fake promises on NEET exemptions, but the political parties are trying to gain political mileage on the issue,” Tamilisai said.
The politicians should now allow the students to peacefully study and gear up for NEET exams, she said.
DMK leader Stalin is doing divisive politics and that’s the reason the DMK is opposing the 10 per cent reservation for economically weaker sections in general category.
When 69 per cent of the overall reservation is intact, then why worry about the 10 per cent reservation under the name of social justice. The concept of social justice is misused by the DMK for votes, Tamilisai said.
Stalin paid tributes to the deceased former mayor and his family murdered in Tirunelveli, but he never visited the house of a maid who was also killed in the gruesome incident. This is a classic example to show that DMK leader Stalin is not for the commoner, Tamilisai said.
Earlier in the day, Tamilisai welcomed the new cadres inducted into the BJP.
