Prince of Arcot nominated leader of Hajj delegation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has personally invited Prince of Arcot Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali and nominated him as Leader in India’s Good-Will Hajj Delegation-2019, to perform Hajj and Ziarath (visit to Holy Prophet’s Mosque, Madinah), this year.

Begum Sahiba Sayeeda Abdul Ali, wife of the Prince, would accompany him, an official release here said.
The two-member delegation includes Syed Ghayorul Hasan Rizvi, Chairman, National Minorities Commission, as Deputy Leader of the delegation.
They would leave for Jeddah, Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on August 5. After a 21-day visit, they would return on August 26.
The delegation would meet the officials of the Indian Embassy and the Consulate General of India to Saudi Arabia, as well as Saudi Government officials in the Kingdom.
They would also visit the Indian Hajj pilgrims in the two holy cities of Makkah and Madinah to enquire their living comforts allotted to them.
The Prince thanked the Prime Minister for nominating him in the Hajj Delegation, as Leader, which was communicated to him by Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.
