DMK functionary’s PA attacked by trio in UT

An unidentified gang on Thursday night hacked Satheesh Kumar, the Personal Assistant of DMK South Convener R Siva MLA.

According to police, Satheesh Kumar was alone in the DMK party head office at Labordane street last night when three unidentified persons came and enquired about Siva.

When Satheesh Kumar said that the MLA is not available, they went out. Satheesh Kumar also followed them and when he was about to lock the office to leave for home, the three standing near the gate pounced on him and attacked him with sickles.

An injured Satheesh Kumar screamed and ran for safety. When the people in the area ran towards Satheesh Kumar, the three escaped under the cover of darkness.

Satheesh Kumar is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital. Odensaalai police have registered a case and started investigation.
