A division bench comprising Justice S Manikumar and Justice Subramonium Prasad before whom the plea moved by N S Sivakumar, an advocate, came up on Tuesday adjournedit to Friday.

The petitioner had submitted that the railway tracks laid over the RBI Subway Bridge is not properly shielded to protect the seepage emanating from the passingpassenger trains.

Besides, public bound to North Madras, vehicles of Judges and other dignitaries also transit in the same route to reach the High Court. More so, the staff and other Government Officials are bound to cross the RBI Subway Bridge underneath the railway track.

But two wheelers are forced to halt while the passenger trains pass through the railway track as sewage seepage hits the sub-way users especially between 9.15 am and 10.15 am when two passenger trains pass through. Repeated complaints to Southern Railways over the menace has failed to evoke any response resulting in him moving the High Court.
