Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly meets on June 28th
Amidst strong expectations, the legislative secretary has announced on Thursday that the Tamil Nadu assembly session will resume on the 28th.

The Tamil Nadu legislative secretary has announced that the proceedings of the Tamil Nadu parliamentary session will begin on June 28 at 10 am.
The first parliamentary session for the year 2019, in Tamil Nadu was held on January 2.
Amidst strong expectations, the legislative secretary has announced on Thursday that the Tamil Nadu assembly sessions will resume on the 28th. The meeting is scheduled to be held for about a month and the grant requests are to be discussed. Due to the Lok Sabha elections, grants related claims were not discussed during the session in January. The session is being resumed amidst DMK's no-confidence motion pending against the Speaker.
Water crisis is the most important issue in Tamil Nadu at present. People are suffering from water shortage as various lakes and ponds in Tamil Nadu have dried up completely.
Opposition parties are reportedly planning to raise various issues regarding the water shortage.
