DMK MLAs take oath at TN Assembly

The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected DMK MLAs was held today at the Secretariat. 

The newly elected candidates including Saravanan (Thiruparankundram), Krishnaswami (poonamalee), Senthil Balaji (Aravakurichi) were sworn in as MLAs. 

The ceremony was presided over by the assembly speaker Dhanapal in the presence of the party president MK Stalin. 

The party won 13 of the 22 Assembly constituencies where byelections were held on May 19. Being a opposition party, the DMK will now have 101 MLA's in its kitty after winning of 13 seats in the by-elections.
