Eight seats for AIADMK, predicts Thanthi TV survey
The exit poll survey released by Thanthi TV, on Tuesday, predicted eight seats for the ruling AIADMK while it predicted only seven seats for the DMK. The remaining seven seats will face a tough battle and the results could swing either way.

In the exit poll survey conducted by Thanthi TV, AIADMK is likely to win in eight seats, including Thiruporur, Sholingur, Gudiyattam, Pappireddipatti, Andipatti, Hosur, Nilakottai and Paramakudi. The seven seats likely to be bagged by DMK are Sattur, Perambur, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Ambur, Harur and Aravakurichi.
The results of remaining seven constituencies such as Vilathikulam, Manamadurai, Periyakulam, Poonamalle, Sulur, Tiruparankundram and Ottapidaram can swing either way. The survey also predicted no seats for AMMK though former MLAs contested in large numbers in the bypolls.
One of the star candidates in the list is former Transport Minister Senthil Balaji who recently shifted his loyalty to DMK, and according to the survey, Senthil Balaji is likely to win in Aravakurichi.
