By-election: Next episode of Thanthi TV exit poll today
The second part of the survey for the assembly bypoll in the Tamil Nadu, which has the potential to change the political scenario of the State, will be telecast by Thanthi TV on Tuesday. The first part, which contained 12 constituencies, including one in Puducherry, was aired on Monday night.

In the State, the campaign for bypoll was much more intense than the ones for Lok Sabha election, as outcome of the former could have a direct impact on the continuation of the incumbent government. Due to this, while they entered into alliances for the Lok Sabha election, both AIADMK and DMK have fielded their own candidates in all the seats in Tamil Nadu.
The survey was carried out among 6,900 persons in 23 constituencies. DMK president MK Stalin claimed that his party would come to power results are out on May 23 DMK, but Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami replied that there would be no such change in the State.
In the first part aired on Monday, the results for 12 constituencies were declared. Both DMK and AIADMK are fighting neck-to-neck in these constituencies, with the AMMK managing to garner substantial voteshare – as much as 22 per cent in some cases.
At 9.30 pm on Tuesday, the results of the survey for the remaining 11 constituencies –Tiruvarur, Harur, Ambur, Andipatti, Nilakottai, Paramakudi, Hosur, Aravakurichi, Tirupparankundram, Sulur and Ottapidaram – would be telecast.
