Exit polls will not materialise: Puducherry CM Narayanasamy
Puducherry CM Narayanasamy praised former PM Rajiv Gandhi a day ahead of the latter's 28th death anniversary. He also rubbished the exit polls, citing the unsuccessful history of exitpolls.

Puducherry CM Narayanasamy has come out rejecting the exit polls as false. Citing the the history of bypolls the Puducherry CM said that, "Exit polls of 2004 had predicted the second tenure of Vajpaaye and it didn't happen and such was the result of the 2009 bypolls that predicted Manmohan singh's defeat." A mandate to be decided by 80 crore voters being predicted by just 5 to 6 lakh people cannot be taken seriously, he further said.Â
Narayanasamy addressed the press while the peace rally for 28th anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi assassination headed to Puducherry. The rally commenced from Bengaluru and through Puducherry will reach Sriperumbudur tomorrow, on Tuesday.
Eulogising the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Puducherry CM said that the unprecedented spurt in science & technology and defence was only possible because of Rajiv Gandhi, if not for his untimely death the nation would have scaled unimaginable heights in all arenas of development of the nation.Â
