Exit polls on Thanthi TV today
With curtains coming down for the 16th Lok Sabha and the nation gearing up for the results of the Parliamentary elections which would reveal who becomes the next Prime Minister, Thanthi TV will be telecasting its exit poll survey “Makkal Yaar Pakkam” from Sunday to Wednesday.

The programme featuring the mega exit poll survey and the political dimensions emerging at the Centre will be telecast live at 7 PM on Sunday. It will be telecast at 9.30 PM from Monday to Wednesday.
The Thanthi group, with its large network of reporters and news gatherers, had reached out to 11,700 respondents in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry to bring its viewers the picture about how voters in Tamil Nadu exercised their franchise for the upcoming 17th Lok Sabha.
The special survey has focussed on the results of 38 Lok Sabha seats in TN and the public mood towards the State and Centre. It also analyses the chances of BJP’s Narendra Modi and Congress’ Rahul Gandhi of becoming the next Prime Minister.
The “Makkal Yaar Pakkam” programme will also reveal the impact created by new parties and age-old Dravidian majors among the current voters in TN. It will also analyse exit poll outcome scenarios pertaining to 22 vacant Assembly seats in Tamil Nadu.
The question of post poll alliance scenario at the all India level and the survival of the AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu were also raised before the voters.
