Attack on RSS camp in Nagai, seven held
With one more arrest on Wednesday, the police have arrested seven people for allegedly pelting stones at a camp organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at Mayiladuthurai town in the district on Monday.

The suspects allegedly hurled stones on the camp conducted by the RSS at Guru Gnanasampandar school here, an RSS functionary said. The camp security in-charge, Durai Shanmugam (70), sustained leg injuries in the incident. On a complaint received, the Mayiladuthurai town police picked up six suspects on Tuesday, while the seventh accused was arrested on Wednesday.
