AIADMK mouthpiece lashes out, calls Kamal mentally unstable

In an article that appeared in the Tamil daily, in the name ‘Can fake people understand the Hindu dharma,’ Kamal was criticised in a fretful manner. The mouthpiece called him mentally unstable for his comments on Godse and Hindu terrorism and a photo of Kamal kissing his daughter, Shruti Haasan, was carried along with the article indirectly terming him an enemy of Hindu tradition.  

The article stated, “On some days Kamal is acting like a socialist, on other days he is acting like a Periyarist and on some days he is acting like a believer. He is doing several roles and has become mentally unstable.”

Recently, Kamal Haasan during his campaign in Aravakurichi said that Godse, a Hindu, assassinated Mahatma Gandhi and he was the first terrorist of Independent India. His statement created various controversies and Hindu outfits staged protest against him.

Minister KT Rajenthira Bhalaji reacted to the comment by saying that the tongue of Kamal should be severed. There were criticisms that Minister’s statement shows that AIADMK is the puppet of BJP and his comments were to satisfy his bosses in Delhi.

Namadhu Amma carried the article with the intention to embolden the critics. The article stated that Kamal had completed his career in films and to compensate it he is speaking in a disrespectful manner.

“How can the crime committed by an individual be equated to an entire community. If that is the case, it can be said that Kamal has destroyed the reputation of Tamil films by increasing sexual vulgarity,” it stated.
