Minister Rajendra Balaji rouses people against DMK

The election tensions are intensifying by the day and so are the political slugfest. Minister Rajendra Balaji was in Ottapidaaram on Friday to campaign for the AIADMK candidate Mohan.

Rajendra Balaji first took a dig at the hegemony of the DMK saying an ordinary member like Mohan could only dream of being fielded by DMK. He then eulogised the Jayalalithaa government's achievements and people friendly schemes. “She (Jayalalithaa) brought cradle child scheme that was lauded by Mother Theresa and provided alimony of Rs 2,000 to the people below poverty line”, said Minister Rajendra Balaji.

Then turning to the DMK he said the party is bent-on hampering the AIADMK's people-welfare schemes and people should teach the anti-development DMK a lesson in this election.
