CBSE Class 12 results out, Chennai records 92.93 pass percentage
Girls outshone boys in the class 12 CBSE examination, the results of which where declared on Thursday way ahead of schedule, with Ghaziabad’s Hansika Shukla and Muzaffarnagar’s Karishma Arora sharing the top rank with 499 out of 500 marks.

Girls have a pass percentage of 88.70, which is 9 percentage points more than that of boys’ 79.40 per cent. Transgenders have a pass percentage of 83.3 per cent, according to CBSE officials.
The board’s Thiruvananthapuram region has the highest pass percentage at 98.20 followed by Chennai at 92.93 per cent and Delhi at 91.87 per cent.
Speaking to DT Next over phone, Balaji said, “I am very happy to have secured the third rank. Since I was preparing for the entrance exams, I was revising subjects regularly. I did not leave it to the nick of time. My intention was to learn. I did not merely prepare for CBSE exams.” “My advice to aspirants is, never taken any pressure. One hour every day is much better than studying 10 hours in the last week,” Karthik added.
The national rank holder who is interested in computers, exuded confidence that he would crack JEE (advance) and realize his dream of joining IIT or take up computer science in NIT, Tiruchy.
Meanwhile, the results of Class 10 CBSE are expected to be out on May 5, accordingto a release.
