Reacting to the AIADMK party whip seeking action from Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker against three AIADMK MLAs, who decided to support Dhinakaran, the Minister said there is secret pact between the AMMK and DMK.

He said that the DMK and other parties in the opposition would come a distant second to the AIADMK in the April 18 elections and certainly lose in the ensuing bypoll to Ottapidaram Assembly constituency in Thoothukudi district.

He further said that only the two Dravidian parties of AIADMK and DMK exist in the race for the bypoll battle and people were not ready to support the AMMK.

The AMMK general secretary TTV Dhinakaran would realise it once the election results were declared, he said after inaugurating the party office meant for bypoll to Ottapidaram constituency in the district on Sunday.

He said Dhinakaran was enacting drama as if his party was strong and would win the elections and DMK president MK Stalin was thinking about change of rule once the bypoll results were out. But, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami would continue to remain in power with support of people, he added.

Responding to a query, he said the recent transfer of Madurai Collector and District Election Officer S Natarajan and notices served to three AIADMK MLAs would not affect his party. It was the Election Commission that transferred the Madurai Collector and it has got nothing to do with the party, he said.

Later, he told reporters at Pudukottai in Thoothukudi that the AIADMK candidate would win by a marginof 75,000 votes from Ottapidaram constituency andStalin was fearing a loss in the bypolls.
