Governor, CM extend Easter greetings
Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and leaders of other political parties on Saturday extended their Easter greetings.

In his greetings, Purohit said, “The holy day of Easter is celebrated all over the world as the day of resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ. On this auspicious occasion, I extend my heartiest greetings and best wishes to all our Christian brothers and sisters. Let us all on this festival day resolve to uphold the virtues of love, compassion, hope, morality and faith in our lives to create a better future for all of mankind”
The CM in his message said Jesus Christ encouraged people to show compassion even towards enemies. “This day is being celebrated by Christians across the world. Let us have his preaching in mind and spread love and peace. Brotherhood and humanity should be cherished all over the world.”
Leader of Opposition and DMK president M K Stalin and AMMK general secretary TTV Dhinakaran also extended their greetings. Churches across the State had arranged for resurrection processions to mark Easter Sunday.
