Khusbhu slaps Karnataka man for misbehaviour during campaign

The actress/politician was campaigning for Congress-JDS alliance candidate Rizwan Arshad and a huge crowd of party workers had gathered near his house. Khushbu came out of his residence along with Shantinagar MLA Nalapad Ahmed Haris and was heading towards the vehicle when a man got too close to her. Khushbu’s reaction was caught on camera and the video of her slapping the man went viral on social media. A policeman was seen pushing the man back.

Later a person named Sagay Raj P shared the video and wrote, “This is called Kapala Moksha in Kannada. @khushsundar slapped a man who tried to misbehave with her while campaigning for Bengaluru Central candidate. Even a few lady reporters who are subjected to this kind of harassment should learn from Kushboo. #LokSabhaElections2019”

Seeing the video, a few detractors criticized her reaction, but Khushbu retweeted the post, and added: “So you say the women in your family will and should keep quiet and tolerate the abuse of some sick men around?? Whatte shame that a woman has raised a loser like you.. my mother has taught me to be brave and I am just that.. and @INCIndia is proud of such women” (sic)

Talking to media after this rally, Rizwan Arshad said that he spoke to Khushbu and she said that she slapped him because he misbehaved with her. The Congress leader added that he had asked the police to take action against the person.
