Congress to join hands with Mayawati post elections: P Chidambaram
Former central Minister P Chidambaram said that Congress will form an alliance with Mayawati's BSP after the parliamentary elections.

Former central Minister and Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram, said in an interview to a private channel that India was more safe during the Congress tenure under ex-Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
He also said terrorists infiltration was curbed during the Congress' ruling. He accused Modi's government of being irresponsible especially in nation's safety, while talking about the recent Pulwama attack.
Chidambaram also said that he doesn't believe in exit polls results as the survey results have been wrong in the past too.
Further, he said Congress wanted to form alliance in Uttar Pradesh, but BSP's leader Mayawati was unwilling for now. He further added that Jothiraditya scindia had expressed confidence recently, that Mayawati will join hands with Congress after the parliamentary elections.
Chidambaram told that Congress is always flexible with its alliance partners and will ensure that the electoral promises are fulfilled, unlike BJP's manifesto.
