“I firmly believe that state parties will come together to form a third front, which will be represented by many MPs from MNM. Only the existing circumstances in Tamil Nadu has brought us together to form a third front. People should express their anger in the polls as the state is in the cusp of a revolution,” he told reporters in Coimbatore.

Kamal also said that choosing the Prime Minister will be a dragging issue at this time. The actor-turned-politician said that an opportunity should be created for a third front with MNM in it.

“The system (administration) has become rotten and indeed we should be held responsible for it. Our confidence that schemes could be implemented on a certain time is lost. People should keep asking questions for delay in implementing projects,” he said.

Kamal further added, “I am showered with love and affection from public during my political journey. I feel more content than in my last 60 years of my career in cinema.”

Earlier, Kamal unveiled the manifesto of MNM for Coimbatore constituency, where the party’s vice president Dr Mahendran is in the fray. Titled ‘Vision 2024,’ the manifesto had listed out schemes to boost industrial growth, develop infrastructure, provide clean energy, improve education standards and generate employment.

The party has announced a separate manifesto for Coimbatore to address the constituency specific issues. Kamal then campaigned for Mahendran, who is battling against BJP’s CP Radhakrishnan and PR Natarajan of the CPM in Coimbatore.

On a whirlwind trip, Kamal also made road shows seeking votes for Mookambikai Rathinam, the MNM candidate for Pollachi Lok Sabha constituency pitted against DMK’s K Shanmugasundaram and AIADMK’s C Mahendran. Kamal addressed voters in Udumalpet and in Pollachi.
