Confident Panneerselvam claims AIADMK will win all 39 seats in TN

The deputy Chief minister, who was campaigning for AIADMK Tirupur Lok Sabha constituency candidate MSM Anandan, highlighted the failures of the DMK and Congress combine during their rule in his speech.

“Despite former Chief minister the late J Jayalalithaa terming the Sethu Samudram Shipping canal project as useless, the DMK and Congress parties spent Rs 4,000 crore on it,” he said.

OPS also dubbed the protest staged by former Chief minister late M Karunanidhi during the Sri Lankan genocide as a drama. He also listed the achievements of the AIADMK government like the success over Cauvery issue and 20 kilograms of free rice distribution scheme launchedby Jayalalithaa.

“AIADMK, started by MGR in 1972, cannot be destroyed even by tsunami, cyclone or earthquake. Our party has been supported by 1.5 crore strong cadres. When Karunanidhi couldn’t destroy AIADMK, what will his son Stalin do?” he said.

Stating that the spirit of Jayalalithaa is watching and guiding them to govern the state, the deputy Chief minister said DMK is a party which unleashes violence, even whenit is not in power.

“Three persons were burnt alive in an attack against Dhinakaran newspaper in a fight between the family members of DMK,” he said.
