AIADMK candidate Chinnappan contesting from Vilathikulam wrongly canvased for Kanimozhi instead of Tamilisai Soundararajan on Wednesday.
As per the dates announced by the Election Commission, Tamilnadu will go for polls on 18th of April and political parties have started their propaganda. While campaigning for AIADMK from Vilathikulam, Chinnappan erroneously mentioned the name of Kanimozhi instead of Tamilisai Soundararajan.
Tamilisai Soundararajan is the BJP candidate contesting from Thoothukudi for Parliament election. Later, on partymen's insistance he rectified his mistake.
