Having agreed to share five seats with AIADMK and seven seats with PMK, BJP Chief Amit Shah met TMC founder GK Vaasan at Madurai Airport on Friday to apparently discuss seat-sharing.
The BJP Chief skipped meeting AIADMK leaders on Wednesday and his arrival today has created political speculations for Lok Sabha elections.
While meeting AIADMK leaders, Piyush Goyal expressed confidence that the alliance would win all 40 seats, including the lone constituency in neighbouring union territory of Puducherry, "as a mark of respect to late Jayalalithaa ji, the honourable Amma."
The alliance would be under AIADMK in Tamil Nadu while at the national level the BJP led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will steer the NDA coalition, he said.
