“Talks are under way and good news will soon come,” Sellur Raju told reporters after inaugurating new facilities at Tamil Nadu Cooperative State Agri and Rural development bank here on Thursday.

“Moments after the AIADMK formed a mega alliance by roping in the PMK, DMK leader MK Stalin lost his peace and is suffering without sleep for the past two days. The opposition leader is also gripped under the fear of losing the Lok Sabha polls. The AIADMK has forged the grand alliance and the party’s poll works are progressing at jet speed,” Raju said.

Claiming that the DMK and the Congress alliance was the root cause of all anti-Tamil schemes, he said Congress was responsible for the GST, NEET, genocide in Sri Lanka and the Sterlite issue.

“The public is talking about this alliance and the AIADMK schemes are doing good. The Rs 2,000 support for the below poverty line has received a good response and the AIADMK alliance will sweep all the seats in Tamil Nadu,” Raju said. He alleged that the public is aware of the mismanagement done by the DMK to cooperatives union banks and the state.

Minister D Jayakumar also justified the alliance between the AIADMK and the PMK and said that the symbols in the AIADMK alliance, including Mango (PMK), Lotus (BJP) and Two Leaves are auspicious, but whereas the DMK alliance symbols including the Hammer, Sickle and Top are violent, Jayakumar said.  The DMK has weakened in Tamil Nadu and that’s the reason for the party to allot ten seats for the Congress.

Meanwhile, the AIADMK and NR Congress signed seat sharing agreement for the lone Puducherry Lok Sabha seat on Thursday.
