Two killed, one hurt as bus hits bike
Two youngsters were killed and another critically injured after a private bus hit the motorbike in which they were travelling at Thirubhuvanai on Tuesday.

Police said that Jayavardhan (18) and his friends Vijay (23) and Thirumurgan (23) were returning to their village from Puducherry on a bike. When they were passing through Thirubhuvanai, a Puducherry-bound private bus from Villupuram knocked down their bike.
In the impact, Jayavardhan was killed on the spot while Vijay succumbed at the hospital. Thirumurgan was admitted to the hospital in a critically condition. The Villianur traffic police have registered a case and are investigating.
