Magistrate A Saritha who heard the case cited several unanswered questions and lack of clarity over the Sections under which the accused were booked for denying the police judicial custody of the accused. The suspects, KV Sayan, and ‘Walayar’ Manoj, were brought by police in a private flight on Monday morning and whisked away for further interrogation.
The two were brought to the court around 5 pm.
The police had booked cases under the IPC Sections 153 (A) (causing enmity among two groups), 505(1) (a) (b) (causing fear or alarm among the public) and 505 (2) statement conducing to public mischief against the two accused.
