AMMK cadre joining us, says Vijayabhaskar

Speaking to reporters, Vijayabhaskar said, for the past one week, the members from AMMK in Karur have been quitting the party and joining the AIADMK. “At least 200 party workers have joined the AIADMK on Friday alone and the remaining members would soon join us. I have predicted this earlier the week as the AMMK would be washed out in Karur and it has happened now,” he said.

Referring that Senthil Balaji had promised earlier to make TTV Dhinakaran as the Chief Minister of the state, Vijayabhaskar said that he had made the AMMK cadre stranded and his promises had gone in the wind. “He has joined the DMK as he found no other go. With him joining the DMK, there will never be any impact in Karur,” the Minister stressed.

Vijayabhaskar also said that just like the AIADMK party workers rejoining with their old party, he has also joined himself with his old party the DMK and there was no surprise in it. He said that Senthil Balaji had planned to switch over to the DMK four months back and now it happened. “As everyone knows, Karur is already an AIADMK fortress, Senthil Balaji can change nothing in it and the AIADMK is sure of winning all the four Assembly segments from the district anytime,”he added.
