Governor donates one month’s salary for cyclone relief

In a statement, he said that Cyclone Gaja has brought in its wake heavy devastation and damage in several districts.He had also toured Nagapattinam, Thiruvarur and Thanjavur districts to comfort the people in the cyclone-hit areas. 

To help in alleviating the sufferings of the people and to assist in relief and rehabilitation efforts, he contributed his one-month salary for the month of November to the Chief Minister’s public relief fund meant for calamity relief operations, it added.
