“The DMK is the party which is capable of driving away the fascist BJP rule and the most corrupt state government and this is the war field and we all should make ourselves ready to remove the communal forces from the nation and find a new Prime Minister,”Stalin said addressing the cadre at public meeting in Perambalur.
Recalling the day as a black day in which the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had caused the people too much agony through demonitisation, Stalin said, the Prime Minister promised to abolish the black money, corruption, terrorism and circulation of counterfeit currency through its implementation. “But demonitisation did nothing,” Stalin stressed.
Stating that the Prime Minister had given a false promise of depositing Rs 15 lakh to each citizen after recovering the black money, Stalin claimed, the Prime Minister neither recovered the black money nor deposited even Rs 15 in each account.
“Modi also promised to abolish hunger, unemployment, corruption and famine but they all still survive but the Prime Minister has never been in the country for a long time and toured as many as 84 countries and spent Rs 1,484 crore on those travels and has achieved the name of most toured Prime Minister,” Stalin rued.
So, it is necessary to remove the BJP from the Centre and major opposition state parties have commenced the work, he said. “We do not have any personal vengeance against the Centre but we oppose their attitude of disrespecting the state government, interference in the activities of the Supreme Court, clash with the Reserve Bank and other similar institutions,” Stalin stressed.
Meanwhile, Stalin strongly condemned the state government and termed it as a criminal cabinet. He said people are affected a lot by it. “When I charge that the Chief Minister has been favoring government tenders to his relatives, the Chief Minister mocked us that he has relatives across the state,” Stalin said. He also said that the DMK had approached the Madras High Court with strong evidence and so the court had directed for a CBI investigation. “The CBI investigation against a Chief Minister is the first of its kind in the country but still, he continues to be the Chief Minister,” Stalin condemned and added that not only the Chief Minister but also the Ministers are under investigation.
“Overall, the state has been run by a criminal cabinet,” he said and asked the people to vow against to remove the parties at both the Centre and the state.
