Father of 3 gets jail term for marrying, molesting 19-year-old

According to the police, a 19-year-old girl of Vannankulam, went missing from her house a few days ago. Following this, the girl’s parents lodged a complaint with the Kannamangalam police, who registered a case and conducted investigations.

Inquiries revealed that the girl often visited the house of one Rajadurai (25) to meet a 17-year-old boy, a native of Erode, who had come there. The girl had fallen in love with the minor boy. When Rajadurai came to know about their affair, he had encouraged the two to get married. When the girl, who trusted Rajadurai, recently went to his house, he took her to a secret location and forced to marry him. Rajadurai was already married and had three children.

After a thorough search, police managed to secure the 17-year-old boy and admitted him to the juvenile home at Cuddalore. 

A couple of days ago, Rajadurai was arrested from near Rajathoppu and booked for cheating, threatening the girl and molesting her. He was later remanded. Meanwhile, the girl was sent for medical examination.
