O Panneerselvam will not resign: TTV Dhinakaran
Panneerselvam had told the party functionaries that party and party posts are more important to him than the ministerial berths and will always work for the success of the party.

While meeting reporters in Vellore, RK Nagar MLA TTV Dhinakaran on Friday said that O Panneerselvam will not resign from his post at any cost.
He said, "Edappadi Palaniswami is still holding his portfolio only after killing lives of innocent people in Thoothukudi. After the Court announces its verdict on the disqualification of 18 MLAs case, the government will dissolve. O Panneerselvam will never resign from his post".
Setting the stage for the party’s Lok Sabha campaign, AIADMK convenor O Panneerselvam on Thursday urged ministers to resign from their posts, if needed, to work for the success of the AIADMK in the coming parliamentary elections in 2019. He was speaking at the party Executive Council (EC) meeting.
A resolution demanding Bharat Ratna for Periyar, former Chief Minister CN Annadurai and Jayalalithaa was also passed in the EC meeting.
According to sources, Panneerselvam had told the party functionaries that party and party posts are more important to him than the ministerial berths and will always work for the success of the party.
“I am ready to resign from the ministerial post to work for the success of the party in the 2019 Parliamentary election,” said Panneerselvam.
