Duo in ‘illict relationship’ found dead
A man and a woman, who were reportedly in an illicit relationship, were found murdered with multiple injury marks on their bodies, near Kadambur on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Thangamariammal (33) and P Perumal (45), both from Mummalaipatti.
Sources said, the two were hacked to death by K Harikrishnan, husband of Thangamariammal, allegedly due to their illicit relationship. Based on a complaint lodged by S Petchimuthu (70), father of Perumal, the deceased victim, Kadambur police have filed a case under Section 302 of the IPC. Later, the accused was arrested, sources said.
