Police held talks with the villagers and promised action after an enquiry into the incident. A doctor’s team visited the school and examined a group of students, who complained of stomach pain, on Thursday. The doctors however said that the students had skipped their breakfast, which could have caused pain in their stomach.

Following a spate of controversies, around seven students had their noon meal at the school, on Thursday.
