College girl ends life in Tiruchy hostel

The victim in a suicide note, which was recovered by the police, had stated she was ending her life unable to bear the chest pain, which she had been suffering from for the past two years. 

According to police, T Thenmozhi (20), a resident of Thelur village of Ariyalur district, was studying B Com final year in a private college on Madurai Road. She was staying in the college hostel. On Tuesday, Thenmozi’s condition suddenly deteriorated and she returned to the hostel. 

Later during the lunch break, when Thenmozhi’s friends checked on her room,they were shocked to find Thenmozhi hanging. Immediately, information was sent to E-Puthur police, who to the spot,recovered the body and sent it to Tiruchy GH for post-mortem. Investigations revealed that the girl was suffering from severe chest pain for the past couple of years. Police said that the girl in her suicide note addressed to her father, had mentioned that she committed suicide since her chest pain was unbearable.
