Recent tax raids in TN marks countdown of Palaniswami government: TTV Dhinakaran
The Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam deputy general secretary TTV Dhinakaran said that the ongoing I-T raids on suppliers of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation in Namakkal has marked the countdown for the AIADMK government ruled by ‘betrayers.’

Stating that there will be more such raids to come, Dhinakaran said, “Raids have begun in the form of egg in Namakkal. There are more scams, which would explode like bombs through similar raids. Everyone will know the truth then.”
Expressing hope that the court would give a favourable verdict in the 18 MLAs’ disqualification case, Dhinakaran said that the verdict will be out in August and then his party will storm to power by contesting the elections.
“I was forced out of AIADMK by these betrayers in April 2017, but it’s just a matter of time that they themselves would go soon from politics,” he said while addressing a huge gathering of public at Codissia Grounds in Coimbatore.
“They came to power by falling on feet. Nevertheless I wouldn’t come to power through backdoors, but contest in cooker symbol and win over 200 constituencies.
I could have become the chief minister, if I had thought, following the demise of Jayalalithaa,” he said.
Taking pot shots at Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, Dhinakaran remarked that even Jayalalithaa made Palaniswami only as a PWD Minister, but it was Sasikala, who bestowed him with the CM’s post. “However he betrayed both the party and people of Tamil Nadu.
Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam will lose his deposit in his own home turf of Theni,” he said.
Pointing out that AIADMK faced defeat, despite 33 ministers camping in RK Nagar by involving all government machinery and spending over Rs 150 crore, the AMMK leader said, yet they lost deposit and couldn’t pose a challenge as people taught them a lesson for their betrayal.
He also said that present dispensation thinks that with power in hand, they could do anything, but they all will be going to jail soon.
