    EMUs, express trains rescheduled due to engineering works

    Pattern of EMU and a few express trains would be rescheduled on July 1 and 2 owing to engineering works between Pedapariya and Gudur in Chennai – Gudur section.

    MMC – Avadi EMU local, scheduled to leave MMC at 2.05 pm and Avadi – MMC EMU local, scheduled to leave Avadi at 2.50 pm would be fully cancelled on Sunday and Monday.

    Rescheduled on July 1 and 2:

    Nellore – Sulurpeta MEMU, scheduled to leave Nellore at 10 am, will leave at 11.30 am. Sulurpeta – MMC MEMU, scheduled to leave Sulurpeta at noon, will leave at 1.30 pm.

    Vijayawada – Chennai Central Pinakini Express (No.12711), scheduled to reach Chennai Central at 1 pm, will be regulated for 80 minutes at Gudur. Chennai Central – Vijayawada Pinakini Express (No.12712), scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 2.05 pm, will leave late by an hour. Danapur – KSR Bengaluru Sanghamitra Express (No. 12296) will be regulated for 75 minutes beyond Gudur.

    Patliputra – Yesvantpur Express (No.22351) will be regulated for 30 minutes beyond Gudur on Sunday, while Puri – Chennai Central Express (No 22859) will be regulated for 30 minutes beyond Gudur.

    Changes on July 3:

    The following changes would be made in the pattern of train services due to line block between Ottivakkam and Karunguzhi in Chennai – Villupuram section.

    Melmaruvathur – Villupuram MEMU passenger, scheduled to leave Melmaruvathur at 11.30 am and Villupuram – Melmaruvathur MEMU passenger, scheduled to leave Villupuram at 1.55 pm would be fully cancelled.

    Chennai Egmore – Puducherry passenger (No.56037) and Puducherry – Tirupati passenger (No 6042) will be partially cancelled between Villupuram and Puducherry. Puducherry – Chennai Egmore passenger (No.56038) will be rescheduled and leave Villupuram at 5.50 pm.

    Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express (No.16127) will be regulated at Ottivakkam for 2.05 hours and Chennai Egmore – Tiruchchirappalli Cholan Express (No.16795) will be regulated at Chengalpattu for 2 hours.

    Chennai Egmore – Puducherry passenger (No.56037) will be regulated at Chengalpattu for 3.30 hours, Tirupati – Puducherry passenger (No 56041) will be regulated at Chengalpattu for 1.50 hours, and Chennai Beach – Melmaruvathur MEMU passenger (No 66043) will be regulated at Singaperumal Koil suitably.
