Anna University supplementary counselling from July 13
The supplementary counselling of Anna University for vacancy seats under children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and foreign candidates for categories BE, B Tech and various PG programmes would be held from July 13.

The College of Engineering Guindy, at Anna University campus, Alagappa College of Technology, Madras Institute of Technology and Bharathidasan Institute of Technology offer courses for NRIs and foreign nationals.
Apart from regular engineering streams like Electronics, Chemicals, Instrumentation and IT, courses like agricultural and irrigation engineering, geo-informatics, apparel technology, ceramic technology, petroleum engineering and technology, food technology, rubber & plastic technology and mining engineering were offered to foreign nationals and wards of Indian citizens working in Gulf countries and NRIs.
Under various categories, about 150 seats were allocated to these students. Of the total seat allocation for this special category, about one-third seats were reserved for foreign students.
Sources from Anna University said that during the last academic year, almost all the seats were filled. “The few leftover seats have been allotted to the students seeking admissions here,” sources added.
The last date for online registration for the students seeking various courses is on July 9. After the verification of applications, the counselling for students falling in three categories. The students of the three categories should follow different instructions during online counselling session. The counselling intimation should be downloaded by the student through the website.
After counselling, admission details such as seat allocation would be sent through email. After this, the students should visit Anna University for availing hostel and other facilities before joining the course.
