Centre waging war on TN people: Activist

Mugilan, arrested for various cases including sedition, was produced before a court in Karur on Friday. Coming out of the court, he told the reporters that both the Central and State governments have conspired to turn Tamil Nadu into a graveyard.

“When I spoke against destruction of green cover in the State, a case of sedition was booked against me. Both Narendra Modi and Edappadi K Palaniswami are destroying the livelihood of the TN people and those who oppose them are being killed,” said Mugilan.

He cited the Thoothukudi police firing as one such atrocity by the government. “I will continue to protest even if they frame me in any number of cases,” Mugilan said.
