Eid celebrated with fervour in Tiruchy

Prayers were offered at various places, including Eidgah maidan in Cantonement and Uzhavar Sandhai ground in Tennur in the morning. After the prayers, they greeted with each other and exchanged pleasantries.

Similarly, a large number of Muslims participated in the special prayers organised at Jummah Mosque located near Irwin Bridge in Court road, the mosques at Pampatti Street, Visirikara Street, Rahman Nagar and many other mosques across the city. 

Women offered prayers at the open ground at East gate area. Special prayers were also offered in mosques across the delta districts.
