TN members to Cauvery panels named
The state government on Saturday appointed PWD principal secretary SK Prabhakar as a part-time member of the Cauvery Water Management Authority and Chief Engineer R Senthilkumar as a member in the Cauvery Water Regulation Committee.

Chief Secretary Girija Vaidhyanathan, in an official release here announced the nomination of both the members. Prabhakar is the principal secretary in the Public Works Department and Senthilkumar is the Chief Engineer of Water Resources Department in Tiruchy.
The appointment is made pursuant to the notification of the Cauvery Water Management Scheme 2018 by the Union government in the official gazette and the request made by the Union Minister of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.
